Located in the heart of southwest DC, walking distance from the monument, all the museums, ball park and in between two subway stations- orange and green.
I have a gorgeous spacious 900 sq 1b with Den and full kitchen w/ an island. When people come in they first notice the plants (it's a jungle) and how key the location and how decorative this place is with worldly travels items. Sip unlimited nespresso on Moroccan poufs. Nap under umbrella in a hammock in jungle like at resort. Netflix’s on a flat screen while practicing yoga on a Thai cushion.
Open living and den area! Look at those trees and plants. You will sleep like a baby and feel like you are in a tropical resort in the middle of dc.
Have breakfast or a morocco coffee in the morning here on these poufs or sleep on the hammock while staring at the Mark Rohto painting. Or say a prayer on the rug from the Middle East.
Don’t stay at a boring apartment when you can stay at a cool place like this. Sleep like a baby under the juggle of plants. This is mother earth coming inside!
Dining room sits six! Bar in the back is stacked with bowls and plates from around the world mostly hand made and painted. You can stare at paintings from around the world from Burma to Russia to Mexico.
Treasures from Ankor Wat (umbrella) and Ming Dynasty Scroll Cabinet to put clothes in (used to be used by Buddhist monks to put their prayer scrolls in there)
Kitchen- appliances from air dryer, instapot, frozen yogurt, unlimited nesepresso machine, and toaster oven. You can make home made food! Safeway, grocery store is 2 blocks away.
Flatscreen can pivot (unlimited netflixs and 2000 channels!) Dim lights. Art is from all over the world (this one is a reclaim wood from and old barn in Canada). Sit on the pouf & meditate to the sounds of water running from the Buddha fountain.
There's plenty of places to sit and chill. I even have an indoor hammock. Plenty of space to work, to eat, to chill out! Or just stare at the paintings from around the world and get your creative mind stimulated!
Kitchen has a big island where most of the hanging out happens. I even have an aerogarden for basil, herbs, etc.
